While he was quick to dispatch any claims over a potential move to Barca, Ganso maintained that one single opportunity of playing alongside Xavi, Iniesta and Busquets in a match would be too hard to refuse.
“I do not aspire to move to Barcelona, but I would love to play for them for just one game,” Ganso said in an interview with TV3.
“I just want to know how it feels to play with such fantastic players. They are all amazing players. [Sergio] Busquets is a superb player and so are Xavi and [Andres] Iniesta.”
Barcelona lifted the Club World Cup trophy in style after demolishing South American champions Santos by a majestic scoreline of 4-0. Goals from Lionel Messi (two), Cesc Fabregas and Xavi was enough as Guardiola’s men lifted their 13th title under his guidance so far, a feat that should not be treated normally.
